HALF-PINT COWGIRL CHRONICLESChildren's Fiction / 2019
Inspiration | In August 2015 my husband Robbie was killed in an accident. This left me a single working mother of a 2 1⁄2 and 5-year-old daughters. My 5-year-old had nightmares and the only way to get her mind off of them was to make up little stories while we lay in bed. We have several stories and characters but one little character and her story became our favorite. That story grew and grew each night for months. It was so cute I decided to write it down so they could treasure it when they were older. This is how the Adventures of Nellie Mae was born. We have added other beloved characters and now we are working on a series that we fondly refer to as the Half-Pint Cowgirl Chronicles.
